Pick a boat from our fleet of Kayaks, pick a location from our pre-set list of awesome Kayak spots, pick a drop off time and we will meet you there will all the equipment you need to enjoy your day on the water. What boats can we hire?

Our Hire fleet consists of both single and double Feel Free Kayaks which are perfect for family and friends to get out on the water.

What do you supply?

We supply:

- Boats

- Paddles

- Buoyancy Aids

- Backrests

We also provide some basic safety information before you set off. 

Do I need experience?

We advise that all customers have some form of experience in kayaking before hiring one of our kayaks. If you've never tried Kayaking before, we advise you at least join us on a 'Taster Session' first. Do also take a look at joining one of our Old Harry Trips before deciding to try it yourself.

How do I book?

Click on the ‘Book Now’ Link bellow or select the relevant activity from the ‘Book Now’ page and fill in our online booking form.

On arrival, you will be asked to fill out a security form with your card details on in lieu of taking a deposit. Once the equipment is safely back with a member of our Team, they will hand the completed security form back to you to destroy.

How long is a Hire session?

All Hire bookings are for the day. On collection we will arrange a time for you to return the boat. Latest return time is 16:00 unless otherwise arranged prior to your collection. Please keep in mind that the earlier you collect your boats in the morning, the more flexibility you'll have on return time.

Do I need to be Experienced

Short answer, Yes. A Hire session is just how it sounds, we drop off the boat and you go. We do not give any instruction, so at a minimum you need to know how to paddle. Our two coastal locations, (Knoll Beach and Lake Pier), are really only suitable for more experienced paddlers. At Knoll Beach especially you need to have some experience in kayaks and know what’s what. We may contact you in advance to discus your experience prior to your hire session, especially if the conditions appear to be more challenging.

I haven't received confirmation?

The online system will send out an automatic confirmation with instructions on what you need to do. If you can’t find the confirmation email, please do check your spam/junk folder as we do some times end up in there! If you still can see anything, please email us at info@jurassicwatersports.co.uk and we will endeavour to re send.

What times we can hire between?

The earliest drop of time is 08:00

The latest return time is 16:00

Can we arrange to collect at a different time or location?

Any collection from anywhere other then our pre arrange drop off sites may require a additional delivery fee. If arranged in advance, we may also be able to deliver the boats to you at home.

What if you cancel?

We try our best not to cancel any bookings but sometimes the grate British weather has other ideas! If we are forced to cancel due to unsafe conditions, we will contact you as soon as possible by phone, as well as a confirmation email, to let you know the booking is not going ahead. We will try and rebook you in as soon as is convenient for you.

What if I cancel?

You can request to move your Booking for free at any time up to 14 days before your session, we do try to make changes when requested however in exceptional circumstances we may be un able too.

If you cancel your Booking:

Over 30 days before Booking:

Any cancelations made more than 30 days before your booking, are eligible for a full refund, or we can rearrange your booking for free.

Under 30 days before booking:

Any cancelations made less than 30 days before your booking, are eligible for a 50% refund, or we can rearrange your booking for free.

Under 14 days before booking:

Any cancelations made less than 30 days before your booking, are eligible for a 25% refund, or we can rearrange your booking for a different time (inside the 14 day window may incur a admin fee of£10).

Under 7 days before Booking:

Any cancelations made less than 7 days before your Booking, are not eligible for a refund, we can rearrange your booking for a different time (inside the 7 day window may incur a admin fee of £15).

Under 48 hours before Booking:

Any cancelations made less than 48 hours before your booking, are not eligible for a refund. We will always try our best to rearrange your booking, however we cannot guarantee a rearrangement at this late a time. (if we are able to rearrange for you, it may incur an admin fee.)
