A year of POTD #365

A year of POTD #365

When our photo of the day series on Instagram started, we had around 150 followers, after a year of posting we now have 2381 followers and counting. Over the year we have had a total of 37,745 likes just on our photo of the day series. A collective highlight of the series has to be our Christmas advent calendar, going out feeling festive in our hats to capture a photo in some of the most magnificent parts of Dorset. To then post to our Instagram with each day looking more and more like an advent calendar, with a swipe to reveal what was behind the door. Here are some of your highlights from the series.

"My favourite POTD was taken down at Dancing Ledge over the storm season. I remember going down there and the waves crashing against the cliffs. It shows the power of nature. For series two I want to head to snowdonia and get a photo from the summit."

"My favourite POTD was taken at Old Harry Rocks it was the first time we took the drone there I remember being nervous flying it so far away over water. In series two I would like to explore more using the drone."

"My favourite POTD was taken on the very first day of our photo of the day series at Durdle Door. I just love it because the whole series was my idea and its where it all began in so many different ways. For series two I would like to explore another country."

"My favourite POTD was taken at Chesil beach, it's my faviourite because it shows the rest of the team having to brave the wet, windy weather, while I was enjoying 25°+ sun in cyprus! At some point this year for series two I'd like to see a POTD taken from underwater on a open water dive home in the UK or somewhere warmer!"
