The hills and coastline of Swanage and the Jurassic Coast are home to Coasteering, Kayaking, Climbing and much, much more that make a school adventure activity day unforgettable! We regularly work with small groups, coming down to Dorset for a week of Activities. New for 2023, we are launching something that we are truly excited about! We are taking things back to basics and bringing back the kind of ‘True Adventure Trips' that many of you probably remember. (With the added benefit of being more affordable, which is only going to become more and more important!)

The first, is the classic, week-long programme of scheduled activity, accommodated in camping accommodation, with a full catering package. These kinds of trips have become the norm in recent years, however despite their obvious benefits, they aren’t for everyone.
The other kind of trip we can offer is our absolute favourite! We are calling them our 'Back-to-Basics - True Adventure Trips'. These are exactly what they say on the tin! Basic camping, self reliance and adventure activities all mixed into the works! Why not get in touch with our team and discuss arranging a program of taking your indoor climbers on to the real rock of the Jurassic Coast? Looking for some real world activities to compliment a curriculum programme such as GCSE or BTEC Sport? Let us know what you require and our team will sit down and arrange a programme of varying and developmental activity sessions, across a term or even a year.

We can also come to you to deliver a programme of Navigation Training from your school grounds, to NNAS standard. Jurassic Watersports has been built from the ground up by a tight knit team of professional adventure activity instructors, all of whom have been working in this industry since they were teenagers. We have a wealth of experience on the design and delivery of School activity trips and programmes of all types. JW was built to be an Activity provider that's primary focus is to provide nothing but the highest quality of activities, with the highest quality kit and the most experienced instructors. That is what makes us unique!
We have one of the most experienced teams of instructors in the area. Even our least experienced Instructor has been working in this industry for over 5 years now, we don’t bring in fresh trainee instructors every season! As a client, that means you are getting instructors and leaders who really know their stuff, know the area and know how to maximise your young peoples experience, whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety!
We also have some of, if not the best looking sets of kit in the area! Our custom made Buoyancy Aids and matching wetsuits and helmets especially make our Coasteering kit look above the rest! (You always know who we are, everything is green!)

Not to bad! We will provide you with a link to a folder on our cloud drive so that you can access any documents we share with you. There are only really three things we need from you:
- Provider Agreement
- Group Consent Form
- Medical Information
But we will be on hand to walk you through it all!

This doesn't happen often! (Until the last couple of years of course!) Our Team will discuss with you exact refund dates and deposits for your booking.
If the booking is unable to go ahead due to Government/Legal restrictions, we will discuss with you options for transferring the booking. If this is not possible, we will refund as much as possible, however on occasion we will need to keep small amounts of funds to cover unavoidable costs.
Not really! Just remember small groups can become more expensive! Due to staffing ratios, keeping groups close to multiples of 10 will usually be more cost effective!
Of course! We will provide you with a full kit list for you to pass onto your students.
We generally suggest 12-13+. Obviously we will adapt programmes to best suit the age of the group, for longer residential programmes, the older your students are, the more they will get out of the experience. For our new ‘True Adventure Trips’, we would suggest groups are aged 14+ (or Year 9+).
Depending on the Activities, we can be flexible. However we generally work around the Swanage/Purbeck area.
We can take groups as big as you’ve got. That being said, we find smaller groups have a better time! Groups of up to 30 can be accommodated without issue and groups of up to 60 can be accommodated with relative ease.
