Old Harry Rocks Coffee & Cake Kayak Experience - Open Experiences
Although open experiences are rare for these experience days, when we do have availability, this open style basically means that you can book for just yourself, or yourself +1 for example, then you will be joined on your session by other couples and groups of friends. If availability is low, our Private sessions offer greater flexibility over available dates, so if you are struggling to find a date that works, take a look at them as an option!
*Open sessions usually range from 6 - 10 people, 14+

Our Private sessions offer you the opportunity to experience our awesome Activities, surrounded by only you and your Friends and Family! These kinds of sessions are popular with families and stag & hen groups alike. We know payment for sessions like these can be a pain with numbers changing all the time! To make it simple, our payment structure starts with a set £330 deposit at time of booking. This £330 secures your sessions and covers your first 6 spaces. Closer the time we will get in touch to confirm final numbers, at which time we will then charge for any additional places at £55pp. Don't forget, private experiences offer greater flexibility over dates and times.

What exactly is an Old Harry Rocks Coffee & Cake Experience?
We will start at Knoll Beach, where we will hand out all necessary equipment and head on down to the water's edge. We’ll jump on the water and head out along the Jurassic Coast. You’ll be able to see the famous Old Harry Rocks from the start and before long we will be standing on the beaches of Old Harry up close. We will either stop there, or head on round to a quiet bay round the corner where we will sit down and tuck into a selection of cakes and a cup of coffee (or a brew if that's more your thing) and take the chance to fully appreciate the truly unique views.
Old Harry Rocks is a Chalk headland formation located at Handfast Point, on the Isle of Purbeck. A UNESCO world heritage site, with the famous 'Old Harry' Sea Stack sat at its eastern most point. The history of the site is somewhat disputed. Some say the rocks were named after a local pirate, 'Harry Peye', but some say they actually get their name from a nickname for the Devil. However, one thing that's definitely not disputed is that it is an awesome site to see....especially from the truly unique point of view of a Kayak!

GoPro Only - We will deploy two of our 4k GoPros, 1 will be placed on one of your helmets and record the duration of your session, the other will be manned by one of your Leaders who know how to get the best shots! After your session, receive the full raw footage.
GoPro & Photographer - Everything in the GoPro package plus we will deploy one of our team with a high quality DSLR in waterproof housing to get all the awesome shots! After your session, you will receive a copy of all footage and photos.
Full Package with Editing - All of the above plus an editing package including two cut together videos. 1 short optimised for Social Media ‘Reels’, as well as 1 full length video of your experience.

Our private experiences offer you the opportunity to experience our awesome Activities, surrounded by only you and your Friends and Family! These kind of sessions are popular with families and stag & hen groups alike.
Our private experiences also offer more flexibility regarding dates.
All our Paddlesport now takes place at Knoll Beach in Studland. On site the National Trust have Toilets and a Caffe. We recomend arriving ready to go out on the water as it is a bit of a time consuming walk to head over to the toilets to change!
A pair of shoes to wear in the water, and wear something you don't mind getting wet....we don't plan on getting "that" wet....but its best to be prepared!
We suggest you also bring a towel and water bottle, you may also wish to bring a waterproof/windproof to take with you on the water.
Contact lenses - If you can get away with not wearing them, that’s best. If you do need them to see, be sure to have a spare pair to put in after your session.
For any of our longer trips we do suggest you have some experience of Kayaking. If you've never been Kayaking before, take a look at our Taster Sessions first.
The online system will send out an automatic confirmation with instructions on what you need to do. If you can’t find the confirmation email, please do check your spam/junk folder as we do some times end up in there! If you still can see anything, please email us at info@jurassicwatersports.co.uk and we will endeavour to re send.

We are open 7 days a week, if there is no time slot available that suits you, contact us at info@jurassicwatersports.co.ukand we will see if we can accommodate.

There are no strict minimum or maximum number rules, however we not be able to run sessions that are not cost effective. Group sizes can vary, but where possible we try to split groups down into smaller groups of 8-10 per Instructor.
Want a smaller group? Why not book a private session?
You're already getting wet right? What's a bit of rain between Adventures? We try our best not to cancel any sessions but sometimes the great British weather has other ideas! If a session is cancelled by us we will look at rescheduling you in when convenient for you.
Coasteering & Climbing are very physically demanding Adventurous Activities. For our open sessions we ask all participants are over the age of 14.
We are however able to offer sessions for participants between the ages of 8 - 14. If you would like to book for child aged between 8 - 14, please get I touch with us and we will see what we can arrange!
We are licenced by the HSE (AALA) to work with under 18s.
Alternatively, you can always book a private session for you and your family.
