January is one of our planning month here at Jurassic Watersports! A time for our team to reflect, prepare, and get ready for all the adventures, training, and experiences we want to deliver in the year ahead. This January, we’re excited to share the news that we are now offering RLSS accredited First Aid and Water Rescue training alongside our other activities!

RLSS Workplace First Aid, Outdoor First Aid & National Water Safety Management Programme

We now offer a range of accredited First Aid and Water Safety training courses ideal for anyone, whether you work in the outdoors, or just want to learn some life saving skills.

Courses include:

- Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

A one-day course covering essential first aid skills, including CPR, choking, bleeding, shock and managing an unconscious casualty.

- First Aid at Work (FAW & FAW Requal)

A more comprehensive qualification for designated workplace first aiders, covering a wider range of injuries, medical conditions and incident management.

- Outdoor First Aid (OFA & EOFA)

First aid training designed specifically for outdoor and adventure settings, focusing on casualty care, decision-making and managing incidents in remote environments.

- RLSS National Water Safety Management Programme (NWSMP)

A water safety qualification that focuses on risk assessment, supervision, safe systems of work and emergency planning, as well as practical rescue skills.

All courses are delivered by experienced trainers and are practical, scenario-based and relevant to real working environments.

Our Trainers are all experienced Outdoor Instructors with a varied background that includes working as Outdoor Instructors, Instructor Trainers, Rescue Divers, Dive Instructors and Active Coastguard Rescue Officers.

All of our Trainers are passionate about what they do and work hard to tailor all training and delivery styles to you, your group and what they need. We ensure all trainers are delivering at the top of their game, with the most up to date advice. What makes us a bit different is the way we always try to deliver courses with two trainers. That way you get more contact with your trainers and a even more varied trainer background and approach to delivery.
